Loneliness is an epidemic. Have you ever wondered why girls are so “connected” 24/7 to so many social platforms like Tik Tok, Snap Chat, Instagram, and You Tube, yet they seem so disconnected? Research tells us that girls today are feeling more lonely, isolated, and depressed than any previous generation. Why?

Girls can find so much to do online and often online feels safer and easier, especially when these girls are so busy, tired, and stressed. But something is missing. True and meaningful connection and community. Girls are missing out on the opportunities to hug and high five, collaborate creatively, and even work through social awkwardness and difficulty.

Connection is necessary for mental, social, emotional. and physical health so let’s help girls create real, consistent, social connections and build the communities where they need to belong.

In the Lost and Lonely Course, she will learn:

• What true connection means and why it matters
• How to overcome obstacles for creating connections and community
• Why she may feel so lonely and separate
• How to work through social awkwardness and conflict
• How to identify the type of friends she needs and the type of friend she can be
• How to create friendship circles and say “goodbye” to frenemies, yo-yo friends, and girl drama
• How to grow her connections into community

Course includes:

• 1:1 lesson (90 minutes) with Power Point
• Colourful handout(s) of key points and tools to try
• Follow up video with additional ideas and inspiration
