I began Bold New Girls by helping growing girls, then teens, and then young women. Now, I am excited to be journeying alongside women of all ages and stages. Whether you are just starting your career or your family, or feeling stuck in your job and your health and fitness goals, or needing a boost when it comes to your self-confidence. I want to help you. Maybe you have a side hustle that you want to grow into a full-time gig or you have a dream to write a book or start a podcast. I want to help you too! Perhaps you are having mental health challenges, feeling anxious and overwhelmed, or struggling with relationships. I can help. You may be at a crossroads and needing to explore your next steps and future possibilities. I’d love to help.

The BOLD coaching and mentorship program is by-design and customized to your needs: you may need someone to listen and offer you empathy, but you may also need ideas, strategies and a specific action plan for your growth. BOLD coaching programs are meant to move beyond only talking to be interactive and engaging. Together, we will work on your growth and your becoming. I will be there to support you so that you can feel stronger, bolder, more equipped, and more confident!

Commonly Asked Questions:

Is coaching right for me?

I don’t know for sure. What I do know is that coaching, is a way to feel accepted and validated for who you are, as well as supported as you choose to grow and take steps towards what you really want next.

I’ve had many coaches and mentors along my journey who have offered me tremendous care and concern, insights and ideas, and all different kinds of support. I always felt more confident knowing I had someone who believed in me and who was there for me should I have any concerns or questions along the way. We are not meant to do life alone and a coach is a great way to live out the truth, “stronger and better together”.

Now, with so much support and growth, I feel I am so privileged and equipped to help others!

Coaching is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, or mental health treatment.

What would a session be like?

Before we have a session, we can set up a 15-minute inquiry call. I’d love to hear what you are looking for and I’d love to get to know you a little bit first as you get to know me. I’d then send you a self-assessment to know our starting point. This is a simple inquiry into your habits and lifestyle. Then, we can set up a session. Each session is different because sessions are customized around what you need most. Our time together could be online or in person. Our session will likely include me asking a lot of questions and listening to your answers. Usually, sessions are about discovering your story, your interests and passions, as well as your struggles and concerns, and what you really, really, really want for yourself.

I am the type of person who is naturally curious, empathetic, interested, and deeply caring. Each session should help you feel heard and validated, excited and motivated, and equipped with some ideas or tools to get working on your priorities, plans, and goals. As a creative person, I use a lot of visuals, as needed, such as charts, mind maps, and timelines. I also provide follow up notes that highlight what we explored together and the action steps you can take to move forward.

What are your qualifications?

I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Psychology at Simon Fraser University before I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from San Diego State University. Since then, I have done extensive research on: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness and Self-Compassion. I have also earned credentials for Life Coaching and in Positive Psychology. What can I say, I am an eternal learner, and I love that about myself!

Yet I think it’s also important to know I am dedicated to personal growth and development. I am an avid researcher, reader, and reflector of my own trauma, life experiences, struggles, pain points, and growth. I am deeply engaged in and committed to my own therapy work and healing, and, let’s just say, I have a lot of personal experience as well as 25 years of experiences working with clients. I have journeyed alongside people struggling with confidence and self-esteem, stress and anxiety, mental health concerns, burnout, identity confusion, limiting beliefs and negative thinking patterns, and those who feel lost, lonely, and without purpose. I am interested in meeting people where they are at to help them move forward.

Of course, I cannot guarantee results or specific outcomes; but I can guarantee that I will provide you with support, I will be professional, and I will offer you my best tools, ideas, and perspective.

Can I book just one session, or do I need to purchase a package?

Again, this is up to you! You can book one session or a series of sessions. It depends on what you are looking for and what is most helpful to you. From experience, I can tell you that having many sessions and building a relationship is the most beneficial for your growth over time. Yet, some people appreciate the drop-in style and only need one session here and there. You have to decide what you need and I can accommodate.

How do I book a session?

The best way to book an inquiry call, then a session, is by email: info@BoldNewGirls.com.

From the time I can remember, I have been a deep thinker, a deep feeler, and deeply curious, caring, and creative. I love growth and development and I love helping people to grow! Life has not always been an easy journey for me – I have struggled with stress and anxiety, depression, body image challenges, low confidence and self-worth, and toxic relationships without any boundaries. I have had a hard time expressing myself and speaking my truths. I have been a perfectionist, a people pleaser, and filled with fears of failing, disappointing people, hurting people’s feelings, and not being good enough. Yet, my life has always been filled with experiences that have helped me become stronger, brave, more confident and resilient!

I love helping people and I’d love to help you!
